From the folks who brought us Oil For Food: New and Improved
Question: Answer: These are the very same people who want to rake the US thru the coals for slapping around a few terrorists... Here are a few stories from 3 years ago for those who want to believe that this is not being condoned by High ranking officials at the UN Answer: MOVED!!!!! Not punished, but MOVED! Maybe we should have just moved Lynndie England to Gitmo!!! Answer: What is Kofi Annan doing about this? I don't know that he is doing anything about it, but today he was in Spain working hard to try and Outlaw Terrorism What??? Outlaw Terrorism??? I thought it was already against the law to kill innocent women and children... We have to have a treaty to make these things wrong? Maybe that explains why there has been no effort to stop the Sex for Food people. I guess first we must have an International Treaty stating that this is wrong, until then, carry on.... Answer: Answer: The same thing he did for the oil for food program.............turn his back so his son (and many others), could dip into the cash collected. Kofi Annan is nothing more than a P.O.S. immitation, wannabe, puppet for whoever's got the $$$ to pull the strings. Answer: "Moved to another location" sounds mighty familiar. It's no wonder our guys don't want to wear the UN hats, and/or serve under them It's WAY past time for Koffi to go, but more than that, it's WAY past time for the UN to go. Answer: Answer: It is amazing how the media deal with the Truly Corrupt in the UN... Most people don't even know the level of Corruption in the UN... How many stories about Sex for Food and Oil for Food Scandals, have you seen on the Nightly News? Or even on the front page of any Newspaper? Now compare that to the coverage it gets whenever a US soldier slaps around a Terrorist, or if a FBI agent may or may not have watched someone being tortured by a Country that has no laws against torture... Of course, we all know that there is no Liberal Bias in the media... Answer: Answer: Trying to understand your logic here. Are you saying that, unless each and every crime of greater magnitude is addressed, a political or governmental body may not address a crime of lesser magnitude? You mean like, if I beat my wife, the state may not prosecute me until every murderer is brought to justice? Answer: Answer: To understand my logic, you must first, not imply something that I have not said... If you had been paying attention you would have noticed that the US has punished many for their actions. And heads are still rolling... Even with all the media hype over Abu Ghraib, very few media sources, even bother to mention that an investigation had already been under way long before the story broke in the media... I have never said that the US should be exempt from the rules, just because the UN believes that they do not have to follow those rules... What I have pointed out, are the differences between how the US treats those who break the rules and how the UN rewards their rulebreakers... Also the differences in Media coverage, that is given to the US and the UN rulebreakers... Answer: There is a valid reason why most Americans won't hear anything negative about the UN (Useless Nations) or anything positive about the war in Iraq or Afganistan from the liberal media or the liberal Democrats in the Senate or Congress of the United States. Most liberals (not all), the UN (Useless Nations) and the liberal media have a common interest, period. They're hatred of the United States and Israel is what keeps them breathing, thats what they live for. A prime example, there were 28 days of front page coverage about the Abu Grahib story in the New York Times (LA Times , Chicago Tribune etc.). The New York Times is the newspaper of record for the majority of newspapers in the United States. Also, they're hatred of this administration far outweighs anything that could be postive for the United States. They will do anything to bring this administration down and any future Republican administration.... We are fighting a war with political correctness and that puts our young soldiers in harm daily......the media have them under a microscope and are there waiting for anything negative to happen so they can make the United States look bad.......the sad part is that the liberal media is surrounded themselves with people who think like thay do and will do anything to bring this country down....... By the way, I've been a loyal Democrat for over 35 years and now know what Ronald Reagan meant when he said..."The Democratic Party left me, I didn't leave the Democratic Party". The bottom line is that most liberals, the media and the UN (Useless Nations) hate the United States of America.....thats a FACT. Answer: I have to say that I do not condone terrorism of any kind neither do I condone acts of torture against unarmed prisoners although I can see that information may be gained from detainees that could safeguard you or your comrades or the population at large, the fact is that if we, as we once did, torture people for information how can we condemn others when they go even further. BUT, what I cannot understand for the life of me is that these people must know that torture is illegal and that if it happens and word of it gets out and becomes common knowledge the doo doo is definitely going to hit the fan hard SO why are they so stupid as to take photographs of an incident that could end up with them in a Court Martial and take them to a main street photo developer ???????? Answer: Last week I first heard of these storries in Africa with the UN people, barely heard info while listening to Fox news on the XM.It really sounds sick.I know the Liberal media doesn't like to ever say anything negative about the UN for some reason, but for the situation there and in other locations the UN has been involved with to go untold mostly by the media is a bunch of BS. If it were US soldiers doing those things to Iraqi childern then they'd be all over the story, like they should. The UN is a joke and run by criminals. Answer: Answer: It's not just in Africa, you will find these stories in just about every area that the UN is involved Answer: Answer: Answer: Answer: Those particular "abusers" are perverts, plain and simple. You have them everywhere, and a prison in Iraq is no exception. Answer: A larger part of the issue could simply be that the news media are in Iraq and don't have bureaus in large chunks of the world and/or can't travel to those locations because of the governments involved. The media ignore many problems just because they occur in poor parts of the world. Part of the problem with the UN missions is that they have to rely on poorly trained 'soldiers' who are still--for punitive purposes--under the control of their sending nations. Much like the priesthood had to shuffle around abusive priests to deal with a shortage, the UN has been stuck with low-quality workers. Here are more problems that are relatively ignored: Sudan--Civil war and genocide. Very little coverage. The only good coverage I saw was on BBC news. Around $60 billion per year in additional funding could make life bearable for most of the people in less developed nations. We could provide universal basic education, priM health care (local clinics, not heart surgeries), and population control measures. Shifting to 'eco-taxing' as some nations are implementing to tax pollution more than profit. Numerous other ones you can write. The media doesn't inform us about much of anything because they only have around 20 minutes and 'need' to include Martha Stewart and Michael Jackson coverage, use news programs as profit centers, and avoid alienating potential sponsors. If you're informed, you didn't get that way from watching TV news!! Answer: Sex for food scandle? I knew it! Thats the reason why Bill Clinton wants a job in the UN!!!
