car Stop Chapel Services
Question: How many of you have attended services in car Stop Chapels? How did you like them and what if any changes would you like to see in them? I was helping at a local carstop in the chapel service playing guitar and occasionally singing. Sometimes I think the workers got more out of being there than the ones it was designed for.(which is good) the drivers that attended really wanted to be there and loved the Lord. There were about 24 to 26 drivers saved there each year I was there. Due to tearing down the building and putting a new one up the services have temporarily stopped. I was just curious to how many use them and how you felt about them. Whenever i get stuck out on the week-end I attend them myself. Answer: I have never been to one of these services, but I certainly plan to once I start driving. God Bless. - TC Answer: I go to all the car stop chaple services I can get to. I am glad that God has called some to serving him in car stops. I for one sing whenever I can. I hope you let drivers do that. God has a lot of men out on the road who are a blessing looking for a place to happen. ------ Seek to know God and Jesus who was presented as the sacrifice of full payment for sin. Do the VI maintain you following distance maintain your lane position observe the speed limit observe the things around you and keep good records Safe driving to you. Joe Answer: I attend car stop chapel services every chance I get. Some car stops have a place designated for a chapel, or it's in a converted semi trailer ("converted" no pun intended) or in a separate building. In my opinion, that's a great way to go. Answer: I know that Bill, my husband, goes to them whenever he is able to. Whenever he is on the road on the weekend and is in a carstop when the service is about to start, he stays and attends. He loves the preachers that preach in these services and has been touched a number of times. He also picks up the tapes that they p*** out and listens to them and then brings them home for me to listen to. Thank God for the men and women that have made this their life's ministry. They are a real blessing. Lynda ------ May the road rise up to meet you and may the wind always be at your back!!!! I have attended a number of car stop chapels, and the ones that I get the most out of are when they hold the meeting in a Sunday School or Cartaste format rather than trying to make it a regular church service. Much more personalble that way and as you may well know, most drivers like to talk. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.cartaste.com
