I haven't heard of anyone getting a HOS violation ticket since the new HOS? I've heard of scales and DOT officers checking everything except HOS.

DOT is still learning about HOS just as driver are. I Wouldn't expect any serious enforcement to begin for at least another month, probably longer.

I THINK, Law enforcement is still on the near side of the Learning Curve when it comes to the
new HOS rules........JUST as the rest of us are!

They are also waiting for the "final version" to be issued, as we all are. Some areas of the HOS are still "subject to change."

FMCSA issued a request that no citations were to be issued for 60 days for minor issues.
However, things like blatantly being over 70 hours and just plain ignorance would be cited.
