Has anyone seen this before?
Question: Answer: Holly cow! I didn't think it would be that huge. How do I make it smaller? Guess who got photo bucket today. Answer: Answer: Yes! On US Highway 60 westside of Lexington, KY. Answer: I can not figure out why it is so large. I made it smaller and changed the tag. It is down to 360x460 still on here like it is still 1200x2200 Answer: Weeeellll Wasn't I right on the location? Answer: Yes, you were. Versails Or something like that KY. It is for sell. They had it on E Bay, but didn't get the min bid. Answer: When ya edit it in 'your' photo gallery on your computer, edit it so that the size is "300 pixels" high/tall. That should 'square ya away'. Answer: Answer: It's been for sale for years. I can't remember who built it and why off the top of my head. He's dead now ... and .... it's a good story. It's rolling around in my head. If I figure it out I'll post it. There's a web site somewhere. Actually, I think some Here'r posted it a couple years ago. Answer: I think it was the six million dollar man. Answer: Answer: Wrong! Some business man. Answer: From what I read he built it for his Wife Ferra Faucet. Answer: I used to travel through that part of the country frequently.......and noticed that on what looked like the same property was a radio transmission tower for a local religious broadcasting station... I THOUGHT that the castle with the turrets belonged to a Televangelist !!..... Answer: I drove a dedicated run from the Buckeye to Versailles, KY 5 days a week for 9 months. Passed that castle every day. The locals say it was built by the guy who played the 6 million dollar man. But no one has ever lived there. The locals also haven't a clue why he built a castle in the middle of KY. I guess it's for sale although I've never seen a for sale sign. Only a no trespassing sign. Answer: From the web Answer: As it looks today Answer: Hey, I used to do the morning show at a radio station next door to that place. We never knew the full history of the castle, but we knew it wasn't owned by Lee Majors (although that was a popular rumor). A buddy of mine from NYU shot a movie there, too. Thanks for the info.
