Question:
I am looking for people who saw the accident on May 14th, 2002 in Pittsburgh, PA. It happened on I-70W and 51S at 11.45am.
A semi coming on the ramp from 51 to 70 overturned his load and slid his trailer into the traffic. He landed his load in the left lane and my fiance a CFI driver drove his semi tractor into the back of the trailer burying it.
I am wanting to feel some closure to his death but want to know the details. I don't know if he could have avoided it? If it happened too fast? Did he suffer? Was he ever conscious?
Any information would be comforting.

Words cannot even begin to express my condolences to you and your children. I also read your other post I too am in that position if anything were to ever happen to Jon. He is my youngests son Kyle's father but not on his birth cert.. Though he can carry him on his insurance, we are not married and would not be entitled to anything other than insurance to which I am beneficiary. Does any of your family know an attorney who would do probono, or else what about legal -aid? I would probably be apt. to call police if his kids tried to come near you or your kids from this point on also maybe take out a restraining order. Call the car in as stolen. Do you have the title? Call any attorney at this point that will give you at least a free consoltaion. You have my deepest sympathy, this is all of our worst nightmare I'm sure at least certainly mine. If I can be of any help e-mail me even if it's just to grieve or bi***.
